How far do you reckon you'd be towing from base? If you're going long distances, switching to a trailer might put you into EU driver's hours regs, tachograph rules etc. which might be something you'd want to avoid..

i am also looking for a tipper trailer was looking at the ifor tt126 but like steve i like the look of the atlas better. i would prefer a 2nd hand one though and think an atlas one might be a bit on the rare side! will probably end up with a tt126. will do what i need to do with it.

Why not get a smaller tipping trailer and keep the LDV too.

definetly sought after by theives. i have pretty secure facilities for locking it up, plus insurance is only £80 per year so im not too worried.

 

im now thinking i might just keep the ldv anyway unless i can sell it for what i want for it which is probably highly extremely unlikely to impossible.
