The video above was posted on here with some others but I couldn't locate, the chipper belongs to Treeworx in Northants. I only posted the palm fronds as it was something different to the norm.

Sorry dont have other video but you are welcome to try, Bandit machinery chipping well is not an issue I have come across before.

I guess any twisted branches or anything not straight and thin will be a hassle in these mini chippers.

The one important thing I learnt from reading this thread http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/large-equipment/9110-self-propelled-chipper-shreks-wee-chipper.html

is the importance of learning to cut the stuff so that it chips easily. I suppose we all get used to our big trailer mounts doing all the work for us.

Yoy have hit the nail on the head IMO, one wee chippers I have sold to newbies think they are fabulous, the ones I have sold to customers with 6-7" chippers have all had to 'calm down'. They expect the wee chipper to perform the same, it's all about cutting & steady feeding.

3" & 4" material is ok but you have to hold it back from feeding to fast due to no autofeed on these small chippers.

Ran across this vid.

This machine is mine.

I think it is great for a little chipper. Relatively easy to wheel about, though it is still over 200kg.

Obviously you have to cut the brash sensibly but if you do the output it excellent. Less time trying to force bits through it the better.
