Edelrid treecore harness

Hmm see I bought my tree magic after using yours and loved it, I still have and still love it, the tree motion though has the edge in freedom of movement such a great comfortable harness that just doesn't get in the way during work, imitated by many but none have come close.

The tree core though looks a nice it's just that bridge set-up which is the make or break deal for me, anybody remember the komet morpho that has an interesting design but never seemed to take off.

Hope you get on well with it Adam and keep us posted.

Another thing this harness has a full suite of spares parts and add ons which will greatly improve its service life and usability.

Wasn't the magic I was on about Marc. I did get on with that harness & used till I couldn't any more.

The one I had issues with & same issues have cropped up with this one was a latter harness & new form completely different from the magic.

Anyhow I won't go into details as I don't want to put people off & put words in mouths ect...

Interested if me & others are the only ones who have this problem..

Best of luck with it Adam & look fwd to your reviews on it.:001_smile:

Really liking this harness not going to say much about it at the minute ill wait till Friday night and do a full weekly review but has to be by far the most Comfiest harness I've ever worn, now I've fount the perfect position on the leg loop adjustment it's taken all the ball crushing away as they sit lovely on the back of the thighs, really love the adjustable sliding D. You can also move the side D's in closer if you want but there perfect for me as they are and sat on spikes lanyard on is very very comfy. Still the only enjoying thing is the leg loop Velcro things but we will see how that plays.

Still a solid 8/10

So what can I say, I've jumped in at the deep end and so far I have only one small issue with the harness and that's the two Velcro straps on the leg loops, other than that the harness is lite comfy and very well made, great back and leg supports, excellent freedom, maybe lacking 1 or 2 more top gear loops but the ones on there so far have managed to be big enough and accessible, great side D position although a little smaller than I'm used to buy I'm getting to grips with them now, the adjustable sliding D is fantastic! Great little feature, so after a weeks working in it and some cony bashing today I'm very pleased with it, I think anyone who is interested in a new harness should defiantly give this a try on down your local Arb shop, (if they stock it).

Gonna take the rating up one notch and give it a firm 9/10.

Ill report back on it at the end of the month :)

Here we Steve the gear loop under the side D is rated to take heavy saws I've added this old open gate as a quick holster point for the saw as I broke my last petzl karitool the other day, it would be better placed a little to the left and a caritool would be better than that old bina but its doing the job :)

Not sure on the lower rings rupe ill have to look in the manuel for you when I get home, the harness has so many replaceable parts its unreal, as are the lower rings on the sliding D there bolted just like the sequoia srt harness rings.

Rupe I've looked at the user manual and can't find anything to say if the sliding D rings are rated or not so will go on the assumption there not.... There's no marking on the rings them self either mate, can I ask why you would use them though? 😊
