Well all I can say is wow!!! Very disappointing show!

 

I have been going to this show for the last 5 years! It was where I first met A bunch of arbtalkers, and the show was great!

 

Last years show was a bit poor, but this years show was so disappointing I spent less than an hour in the show ground! And I most likely will not be coming back next year!

The show was poor but the walks around the gardens are stunning. Did anyone see the Caucasian elm? It's massive.

Well all I can say is wow!!! Very disappointing show!

One of the chaps i subcontract to and i made the decision last year not to go to the show, it just isn't worth the drive down, not even for the garden walkaround!

 

Capel seriously need to pull their fingers out to get more exhibitors in there (less cost per stall?!) and a wider variety of stalls. Take a lead from the arb show/APF...

 

Shame as it was a great start to the year's shows.

Before this year i'd been to every year since 2004 as it's the closest to me. I think it's got worse every year. Last year i decided to ditch this one from the calendar.

We didn't bother last year but thought it mite of picked up , Vermeer and honey brothers the only 2 stalls worth looking at

I think it suffered because its so close to the cutters and climbers which is tagged onto a large countryside related show.
