The first 3 photos what kind of wood is it please

And the last 2 photos; what kind of quanity do you think I have in builders sacks or cubic metres once I have cut and chopped it?

(there are 25 of the poles as seen in photo 2)

And my final question; What can I use as a hand tool to cut them with?

photos are shocking. The poles at the bottom appear to be sycamore with sooty bark disease. As for the above photos, assuming they are different wood...i can just make out a sliver of bark that looks horse chestnut like. With the quality of these photos you arent going to get a 100% positive ID on anything though

First 3 pics are taken from a lunar module some where on the surface of the moon . The poles do appear , as Steve says to be sycamore .

the pile next to the shopping trolley look like softwood, after reading in your other thread whats the reason for not being able to use a chainsaw.
