Anyone working in the north east I'm looking for firewood I'm not bothered if it is hardwood or softwood. I can collect or you can drop off. I'm in Chester - le- street. Or anything which can be turned into biomass.

Also I have a chipper for hire Pm me for details.

I have a heizohack it takes diameter of 12inch.

more curiosity, what sort of reduction in output do you think for throwing in rings etc as opposed to chipping a stack of 3m lengths?

Im slowly building up my pile, but I dont know whether to pay a bit for the wood in order to have it in lengths, Ill be wanting it chipped in August if you fancy a holliday in the sunny south!

I have a similar machine to Josy123 and I dont think throwing in rings makes a great deal of difference as the actual mouth of the chipper is actually 12 inches by 21 inches so rings can be upto 21 inches wide and 12 inches deep as opposed to tree stems of 12 inch diameter.
