Husqvarna T435 won't tick over

Exactly! I sold lots of the very first husq335 and all of them went wrong, major carb issues plus oil pump is in crankcase Not easy to clean out and service,spark plug wrong place, air filter wrong place etc,, it tried and it failed! and all the other models that followed as well! The stihl ms201t is the BEST chainsaw provided you use stihl chain oil!! Believe it or not, it acts as Coolant rather than a lubricant and now there is not a lot being pumped on the chain, OREGAN chain oil is not good enough!

A little tweak that I've recently been doing to the stihl 201T is drilling 8mm hole in the exhaust, makes it rev-up far quicker and with a well sharpened chain! Cutt like fook :0)

Or you could just go all out and do the exhaust properly, also porting it helps a lot. I've also seen recently that there are some carb mods aslwell.

 

Every saw can always be made to run like it shouldn't.

That's a very closely guarded secret. :lol:

 

It's a mere case of using google and sifting through hours and hours of threads and posts and info from various sites and YouTube.

 

Have a big a4 pad and pen at the ready....

Easy to do, just need to cut exhaust cover slightly as well

They should be one turn out each, also check the fuel lines, impulse on the carb might have a bit of crap in it

Is it the standard one turn out?

I thought it would be as its a Walbro carb on my Husky t435.

But when I removed the limiter caps and turned the screws back in, they turned in over twice each?

Not started to retune yet but just got me thinking that the standard setting for this carb maybe more than one turn?

Anyone actually know? or have the Husky service data sheet for this saw?

Husky provide the basic tuning settings ASSUMING you haven't removed the caps, but just google the carb model and you'll probably find the info
