It my birthday next week and my mrs wants to get me something nice.

Always wanted a helmet cam so why not i thought.

But seeing as I know less than nothing about them I not sure:confused1:

What I need to know is.

How easy are they to use and edit?

I have a dell laptop just a basicish one although I have 1terror bite of memory hard disk thing.

Would this do the job?

Don't wanna have to buy a all singing all dancing apple 2k lap top.

Any help is gratefully received.

So, I have a lap top with plenty of memory. If I get the go pro will I be able to edit video easily and without shelling out on anything else expensive?

I use a 3.9 ghz i7 16gb ram and sometimes that takes awhile with 1080p stuff on my gopro, so should work just abit slower, go for the hero 3 black edition it's a no brainer check out my Chanel on you tube for quality and I use windows 8 movie maker it's simple and easy no frills editing :D

whats your budget

I not too worried about the camera price. Looking at either gopro3 or drift ghost hd. It the updating the lap top as we never use it. Both of us just use the iPad.

Ideally I wanna take some cool videos and edit them quickly and easily. With spend too much on the lap top.

Yeah a bit of uploading to you tube. Use one or two on my website.

And to show friends and family on the big tv at home.
