on tonights programme is a piece on charcoal burning but the clever bit was the wood is up on a steep hill so have put in chutes to slide wood down to bottom.

worth a look recording it so will se the full bit.

Looked like a silky saw kid was using...

 

Farmer saying he burned around 20 tonnes a year on log boiler so thats like 40 cubic metres

 

All wood produced they said was 50% for him & 50% for the volunteer wood craft peoples managing his woods seemed a good thing for him :001_smile:

Seemed a good way to get smaller cut backs down to the charcoal burner from up top.

 

Round my uncles wood its really steep and clay soil so knackering getting anywhere. That looks a great solution!
