Well I actually looked at Chainsaw trousers, not that I need them. I was a little shocked at the cost, I understand they can save a limb if there was an accident with a chainsaw but blimey!

Cut proof trousers offer protection to more than just limbs, you nick a femoral artery and bleeding out before assistance arrives is a real possibility. Worth every penny (and then some more).

Oh no doubt about it! but for a climber who doesn't chainsaw its most likely an unnecessary expense. One day if I begin start cutting trees down all the time I may consider... Maybe I will keep an eye on eBay.
