I got some Aku' Cresta for around 145 quid. Those boots look comfy mate, but I feel time will tell as to how long they hold up for tree climbing.

I had the Cresta but they felt a bit of a let down after the Crodas which were perfect. Have some LaSportiva trango evo's now but 6 months down the line are looking worn badly this damp wether is not helping. Going for Zamberlan Monsters next.

I never had Crodas but the Crestas are holding up very well for me.

I got them in September last year and they barely look worn in. I do wear my Airstreams for dismantles though.

Ya I know what you guys are saying and I do think its all relevant to how much climbing we do.

Also sometimes its not always a case of you get what you pay for I have had boots in the past which cost a fortune and have been crap and others which have been less then half the price and have been great.

I just think there is't much difference in price between the top boots but sometimes its just nice to have a change.
