Arb suppliers advertising via TXT

I don't know if anyone else has had this problem, I'm seem to be getting a increasing number of unwanted advertising SMS messages from ARb suppliers (some on this forum you know who you are!)

Am I the only one who finds really irritating?

If I want something I know where you are!

Email I can handle everyone's used to that, but not my own personal mobile phone, I don't get them from other industry's I may contact

Please stop

Rant over.

Never from anyone on here, are you sure you haven't opted into something.....?

I try to take extra care to find that elusive marketing tick box and make sure I'm not opening myself up to get swamped with crap....

But I'm very anti-crap, I do a lot of spam reporting and hiding on Facebook, we're just bombarded now wherever we go. If I feel someone is advertising too intrusively now I actively boycott them...! No matter how good they may be!

We don't do texts but we do emails. The emails are new products and offers only to subscribers, we try to keep them clean and simple, and people have the option to opt out if they want. Personally I can't understand it when people opt out after signing up and then getting one or two emails :confused1:
