Just about to put some fresh strings on the smith. The Musicman had a fresh set and it sounds amazing now.

 

I like "elixir " Strings . I use 9s as it is just for me . Bend easy !

I always ask for anything that will stay in tune -9 gauge

 

Elixirs seem to . Got no string tree on my Tele at the moment and seems better for it .

Oh yea . Sorry . Think its an excessary company rather than a wood. Could be wrong ....

what amp do you use - when I played gigs I used marshall valve top and cab

 

Ive just got a 20watt marshall "valvestate" combo now

 

Ive always wanted a vox ac 30
