I brought 3 petzel Alveo Vents (orange), all have cracked within 5 months use. Rubbish!

 

Vertex Vents would last 5 years and still be serviceable.

 

plus 1 on the petzl mine has cracked not a year old but very good helmet. comfertable to wear. unlike the normal helmets. seen the one i want belgian fire fighters use them can be used on the ground or in the air £160 for one forest and arb have them

Get the pfanner arborist helmet when it comes to the uk!! Like with all pfanner gear, details are in the design. It's not ur average helmet!!!

Someone I knew has a petzl hi vis helmet (I think was petzl) bought it for about £110, left it on the floor and a log landed on it and it smashed to bits!

 

Imo a comfortable one is good enough, I have a petzl alveo vent in yellow.

In that situation any helmet would do the same.
