Now that IS rubbish! There's not a chance that an old 260 outguns the current 261; the latter is a good grade faster. 260 outcut a MS362; what you been smokin?!

 

Normal cigarettes! And yes, one blokes stock 260 outcut a 261 and 362 whilst we were felling Corsican pines 30"+ on Cannock chase, and even my little 236 was out cutting the 261!

Having owned a MS362, don't waste your cash...!!! It's not a patch on it's predecessor, even though the MS361 is long out of production. If your going to run a 20" bar day in day out get a 70cc + saw, it'll perform far better....:thumbup1:

HI G DAY your right mate 361 will not hold out for long if you run a 20"bar all day long mate i run now 20 "on my old 660 jon :thumbup:

I've just bought a MS362 off an arbtalk member....ringing up large diameter stuff that is too big for the processor was very tedious with my MS260 but the 362 zips through them.

had a 361 loved it got a 362 loving it until today broke rear handle with a tracked chipper dont ask...... took it in for repair had them look at it £200 for new rear handle and fitting not to bad but dealers noticed problem that traces back to knackerd crank......do i stay with stihl looking at another 362 or a 441 not had much to do with huskys any advice?
