Haven't yet ordered this, what do you all make of it so far?

Haven't read through it in depth as yet, but appears pretty comprehensive.

For instance, I like the way it offers guidance on 'management of veteran fruit trees' & although not extensive, it also focuses on 'safe working practices for innovative or specialised techniques'

Just ordered my copy. By coincidence I have to visit a client with a veteran and offer some advice; I hope it arrives in time!

You'll find it most useful Marco, there are sections on benefits, survey & evaluation, habitat continuity & specific tree works/protection. :thumbup1:

Did you order a copy Kevin?

The ATF asked me to do a brief review of the book for the membership here at Arbtalk.

Don't think I'll be taking up literary reviewing as a day job any time soon

I've not ordered it yet, unfortunately other things have taken priority (a nice Getac gps through my door soon  ) I thought the review was well written and to the point. When I do get it I could also write a review, could be some time though as I'd want to read cover to cover. I find it helps me to do so first before shelving a book for reference.
