what ticket do i go for

right i've got funding from ila 200 pounds i all ready have cs 30,31,32,38,39,41

so dont need to go down that route decided to do the large fell and crown break down which will cost me 100pounds. so iv'e got 100 pounds to play with but cant decide wot ticket to do.

thought of doing the chipper ticket or chapter 8 roads and signs ticket

what one of the two do you guys think will be more valuble to my career

I juat done the chipper ticket, a bit boring when you have been using one for a while but i did it to cover my ass in this ever increasing world of H+S. I doubt you will get it for 100 quid though. i gonna do the chapter 8 one asap aswell.

 

I would do the chipper one first as its what you use the most.

see aye thought that to ma boss has a chipper ticket so am supervised anyway but chapter 8 will come in hander for roadside jobs and none of us have it can cover each other in a sense. has anyone done chapter 8 aye no whats involved anyone know how much it will cost aye will have to add some of my own money a expect that much

The chapter 8 is a doddle mate, you sit in a classroom for a while then go out and set a few cones and signs out. Teaches you some useful stuff but most of its common sense i thought. I'd go for the chipper mate

i did the chapter eight. you basically just read a book, then go out and put some traffic lights out. it's equally as boring as the chipper ticket but worth having i suppose! someone told me recently that the chapter eight course is being extended too???

 

i would definetly go for a trailer driving test if you don't already have it. it would be far more benificial in your career in the long run than either of these.

 

plus you can get a chipper and chapter 8 with next years ila grant!

am not doing the training for cs33 just the test am doing it on one of our sites

so getting it cheap. thought about the cs40 but got plenty time to do it when a prefect my art ha lol

do you no what that makes a lot more sence never thought about the trailer test it really would help me out more than any other ticket at the mo cheers for all the comments guys:001_smile:
