do the nets stand moving about ok, or settle do you think and go wobbly?? as we shake our drying nets and top right up else when stacking two high they can wobble and not sit tidily

got to be cheaper than vented bags tho im guessing - impressive kit bob - is it the posch wrapper from wilsons - would that wrap be about 2 cube or 1.5 at a time

wilsons smilsons...........slow to respond and no other users in uk...as simon munrow failed to supply any details...

quoted...packfix hydro and two bins £5000. same in germany E4000, so £3300...18 mth two year old machines.

was going to go skiing in pickup and trailer and fetch one.

but got local fabricator to knock one up.

did 6 on sat/sun then been delivering all day today.

hopefully will not have to kiln dry logs next year in grain shed. but this year might not be as wet anyhow.....?????????

but folk still buying wet cr.p at £40 and complaining that their stove glass is black and no heat, these wood stoves are no good, iam reliably informed.

the germans and austrians are placing a plastic sheet on top of netwrap pallets to stop snow and rain

havnt logged any timber since aug, just playing with dry logs.will post a vid when start cutting 2014 logs this next week or so. or might net 2013 logs off heaps and see how dry we can get em. sub 16%, around 18% off heaps in a normal year.

Absolutely awesome I'm going to have a go with maybe something that you manually rotate for 1m3 nets. This could be the way forward it's gotta be cheaper than bags that's for sure. Could you please tell me the price for the roles of netting. And also are the bins just sitting on the pallet initially or do you tie them to start with

bins just sit on the pallets

round bale net wrap £100-150 a roll ,chainsawed in half

£1 a wrap for 2 m3 pallett

100t or 200t of logs on a pile, either inside or out just will not dry and season even after 2 years. and after last years summer of rain i do not want to have to build another kiln, gobbling 80l diesel a day.

Fair enough, I just have 3 sheds which hold around 100 tones each and dries down to about 22% in a short time but very well ventilated.

They have concrete floors and load them with a handerler

Have vented bags which take up a lot of space and us about 3/4 times and that's a fiver gone!

Be interested to hear how the stacks stand up to being rolled anywhere that is not flat, ie a trailer tailgate. and hwo they behave in transport when you dont have another one wedged up against it to hold it vertical.
