Looking for a second mower, got more maintenance this year so getting my dad into help...looking for a self propeld mower with a large collection box as the 1 i have, honda izy is just to small a box, ideal for small gardens but ive picked up some big gardens this week starting soon cheers

Try the Ariens. Good robust mower starts first time everytime 21" cutting width and goes at 4-5km per hr. Bag is a good one too.

Only down side is it doesn't do stripes but it does mulch.(Handy come the autumn for the leaves). You can sort the stripes by attaching a rubber strip to the back plate.

We've been using Honda mowers since 1984.

They've always been cracking machines, reliable etc. ours were always used for commercial maintenance programmes.

 

A good model which we now use is the Honda HRX 537HX

This is a 21" cut, on a polymer deck. Hydrostatic drive and fairly large grass bag. It also has a mulching option too. A handy bit of kit.

I run 2, the best mower in the market by miles.

Downside- expensive! Heavy! Roller etc needs lots of looking after to avoid expensive failure
