+ buyers premium 5% and vat 20% that's quite a bit too much IMO.

BTW I believe the Dalen made the price of a new machine, can't remember exactly. So buy a new one, chuck sawdust over it and sell it at a profit, Shabby Chic is in!!

Exactly why I did not bother going, auctions for tree gear always go for silly over the top money.

Fair play to the guys who get the cash though.

088 wouldn't cost much more new, think people came out with there wallets and left there brains at home , that wood processor just kept going up and up

Sounds like it was a chance for peeps to meet up and observe stupidity.

Did anyone on here get anything at sensible price?

Last time we had an auction like that round our way (dear old John Cooper RIP) everything went for silly money - it seems to be the auction mentality 'I want it so I'll keep bidding'.

 

Dozens of nomads appeared on the day too - though they had to be reminded to pay for stuff before they took it away - an easy misunderstanding.
