Phytophora on Salix ?

Hi I was wondering if someone could help me I believe a weeping willow tree has phytophora a sign of cambium damage and black exudates on the stem these are the pictures thanks

I would say it was Anthracnose of weeping Willow .

Are the wounds not physical rather than fungal?

They look well healed .

Nope no physical damage there not crossing laterals it looks like blight

I would say it was Anthracnose of weeping Willow .

 

I'd go with that, very common around nurseries

If it was on an Acer or a Beech I would say squirrel damage and I might be right. Dunno if the wee blighters have an appetite for Salix?
