Just visited the lift companys website, No prices listed. I est. based on the videos of the 1750 set up, truck included. $200 to 300K, Truck alone would be nearly half the price if not more.

Saw seems blunt.

 

And i don't like the look of it simply because when the crane makes the lift i want to get well out of the way, not hang around stropped to the main stem, whilst i control the crane: there is no option of an escape route.

So would the logical evolution of this be a grapple with a saw? Harvester head type. Smaller pieces but no climbing.

 

Logical evolution and practical application may be Two very different things. Multi tasking with such equipment I believe could only go so far.
