Time is coming to an end

I wish I owned 1000 acres. Just managed and consulted. The 60 acres is the first woodland I ever managed  got a hazel coppice on its 5th year. Nice charcoal burner. Might try some carving. A couple of little wildlife projects up there.

And no you will never know who they are. No name and shame.

A local(ish) estate owner heard about my misfortune and had an email at 7am offering me 2 days a week at a more than reasonable wage. So that's more. Just gonna mass advertise and try keep a float.

Don't worry lads. My head is always held high, I think I have the right to do so. And I'll keep you all posted

Know exactly how you feel - we'd been hanging on a thread for about a year and that thread broke about 4 months ago so we've had to reinvent ourselves but things are starting to come together now. And the main things that got us through? Being realistic, being positive and sheer bloody mindedness! So you've definitely got the right attitude.

Good luck and keep going!

Cheers mate  I will no doubt star up again. Going to take a month out and work in this 60 acres. Me and the arb dog. Get me head straight and a game plan together and go for it :thumbup1:

Sorry to hear about this mate, it happens, I've been self employed for 16 years now and last couple of years have been tight for me too, works picked up now and hopefully will continue, its happened before and it will happen again I dare say, tighten your belt, keep your head down and carry on regardless :thumbup1:
