I need to digest that and experiment with it - thanks a lot Spud - that's the first time i've had that explained - appreciated

Spud, how do you tune the carb on an electric saw:lol::001_tt2::thumbup:

 

I was given an electric Makita that wouldnt cut, well they dont go through nails as easy as wood do they:sneaky2:

I could tell my mate his chain was nice and sharp but the carb was set wrong,

 

 

I think you tune electric saws by altering the length of the governor springs :thumbup:
