Spud, how do you tune the carb on an electric saw:lol:

 

I was given an electric Makita that wouldnt cut, well they dont go through nails as easy as wood do they:sneaky2:

I could tell my mate his chain was nice and sharp but the carb was set wrong,

I think you tune electric saws by altering the length of the governor springs

The saw runs on AC current, it is the frequency that needs adjusting - it is 50hz when it rolls out of the socket but personally find 43.5hz is the way to go giving more torque and top end power:thumbup:
