For some reason fergys have always had a massive following and therefore fetch unrealistic prices.

 

A comparable McCorrmic 414 would be more versatile, more powerful and just as reliable, but only half the price.

 

This one looks well, with the exception of "The engine and chassis have been resprayed, and the wings & bonnet painted". Possibly tinwork prush "painted"?

Both in worst condition but neither sold, i think the same will happen with this unless there is one luckly buyer!

I think your right (massive following) therefore inflated prices. This is the same for 70s sport mopeds i bought mine in 1977 for £250 brand new, they now fetch £2000 upwards, customers outstripping supply = stupid prices
