Good job.

 

Have you not considered a simple back-cut as opposed to face cut/hinge. Would avoid difficult seperation as face closes & you would get a much smoother commitment towards the face/rigging point. Easy & simple can be the best way forward :)

What's that attachment point on the Husky at 3.55? do Husky sell that? looks like a very good idea.
