David hello this one was around a while back timber jack walking harvester - Bing Videos but the one in the picture was from a logistics firm with remote helicopter cameras and other such things, I think show casing their ability to construct different things, the spider thingy was walking around outside the tent as well, not seen this b4 steerable front linkage!

I'd like to have gone, had sort of promised myself I'd go this time but too much on the go and holiday already booked for later in the summer so it just didn't happen.

Abenteur und Allrad is on in Germany in a week or so, so it would have made a cool bike trip to head over to Elmia, keep going north for a bit and then work way back down to Bad Kissengen for the overland show.

this quad trailer looks a bit 'pretty' but I suppose it has a place in extraction, there were quite a few options around some with all the extras you could think of , wood benches of all construction shapes and sizes scattered throughout the site, just to confirm you do need at least 2 days preferably 3 to get round and see things i.e. if you whish to see any of the competitions or discuss specifics or just to get a look at some of the demonstrations, and there is a lot to see, possibly the best coming from Komatsu with rock music, pyrotechnics, choreographed forwarder and processor moves ( not quite up to JCB standards ! ) but impressive ! quite a show , others not far behind
