I wouldn't have messed around with a piddly machine gun, a few rounds with a .50 cal would have done the job much quicker

Dean did you ever have a go with a barrat or similar? I watch future wepons on youtube and those rifles never cease to amaze, particularly when shooting through tractor weights at a mile.

Sadly no Jason, but I do have a friend who spent 22 years in NI as a copper, he has come across, demo'd, used and seen the results of a mass array of weapons.

One of the most famous was the .50 cal sniper concealed in a tow truck body taking out squaddies at around a mile. After they found the truck and gun they were demo'd one on the ranges showing the devastation such a caliber can do.

I want to know where they zeroed it without being found out.

Some desert in Libya probably. The record for a confirmed 'kill' with the big .50 cal is 2,430 metres.....apparently.

There is British company that makes a superior .50 rifle to the Barret called Acuracy international. The Navy Seals are ditching their barrats in favour of the AI.
