Dean, have you ever set a booby trap that hasnt caught you out?!

Last year our pens were being vandalised and pheasants killed, for no other reason than the entertainment of whoever was doing it, so I went down and set a trap at the side of the pen.

 

I winched over a 40ft silver birch, tied a rope onto it with a lassoo hoop and made a man trap. It was an absolute cracker .

 

When the leaseholder shoot leaseholder saw the trap he told me to disable it, I tried getting away with telling him it was a fox trap. If a fox had tripped it, it would have launched it from here to London

 

So thats one trap I never got caught out by, although the gamekeepers dog had a close call from it.

You can learn a lot from Home alone 1 with all the booby traps! I bought a very expensive steel core super chain, sheathed thing to keep my trailer located in my county. Yesterday my groundie snapped the key off in the lock, now i cant use the bloody thing. I was sold on the fact that you could only cut through it with hydraulic shears|!!!!! Balls!

Dogs are being used to steal mens jackets. That's low.

It amazes me how you make light concerning the use of guard dogs.

 

Perhaps it's a Brit thing? Too bad. I guess all you can do is protest when thieves make off with your hard earned possessions.
