Beech take down

Rupe

I used to use it all the time. I know there is an issue that by adding more krabs you are increasing the chances of one krab cross loading so some would advise against it. As long as your a careful and the loads are smaller then its ok. As I get towards larger loads then I tie directly with the rope.

Recently I got round to buying a 13mm bull rope for light stuff and I prefer to just tie that, it has a more simplistic/minimilist feel to it doing it that way.

Nice work Rupe and some very nice pictures, still waiting for that invite to see the GRCS in action. :)

so is the grcs really worth the £1800 or whatever it costs? I always thought a port-a-wrap at £80 was extravagant! It would be interesting to see how much more efficient that extra gear made the job. How bout you do another beech TD and use natural crotch rigging and a bit of polyprop rope. we'll watch.. haha
