HI Guys here is a video of a BC 1000 XL I delivered to a hotel in Inverness producing a G 50 spec wood chip for a 90 kw wood chip biomass boiler.

Please check out a face book page for more videos and photo's :thumbup1:

Is there a screen in that? Mine often produces fairly poor quality chip (not an issue to me) I'll be the first to admit that the anvil gap should probably be adjusted more often, which if I can produce a guaranteed quality of chip may be worth doing.

A friend has a BC1000 he bought new. He likes chipping bigger stuff like the machine says it can do. All his drum bearing mounts are cracked, along with various other cracks.

I will say those little vermeers have excellent wood chip throwing abilities. Something about that setup they have dialed.

For a machine that is 7 years old I think it did a pretty good job, in an ideal world they would have purchased a larger chipper but everybody has their limitations they were originally going to try using a smaller 37hp machine to do the job :/ it may have to work hard but only occasionally as its producing chip for only one biomass boiler.

If the blades are sharp, the anvil is set correctly and very importantly, what your chipping and how you are chipping it a G 50 spec chip is quite achievable.

I don't understand your posting footage of a 7 year old machine?:confused1:

I mean, you don't get Toyota pushing old models or Next yesterdays fashions.

From a fellow arb, why yes but not a supplier.

Regards

Ty
