GREENMECH WOODCHIPPER DEISEL 1996 | eBay

Found this on ebay, we had this bought for us by those above who have no idea in 1996, it was sold for £1200 to some poor person a few years later. On ebay it states 8 inch but it was a lot smaller than that, the hopper used to lift up and tie to the chute and one day driven down the road the chute fell off and was dragged down the road by the cable. The first day we had it there was a roller spring missing and it would hardly pull anything through. To be honest I think it was total rubbish as this size chipper goes. Now some poor person is willing to buy it.

I forgot to say it still has its ID numbers on it.

Hmm. It isn't a GreenMech (or greenmesh), but a Gandini. Made in Italy and sold in this country by Graham Satchwell at Chippers International. Turner World Mowers where the importers but, when they ceased trading, GreenMech had their stock and this was one.GreenMech used some aspects of this design and very quickly changed the rest.

I got my first GreenMech earlier than 96 and it did me proud upto the end of tge 90s.

Incidentally, gas the owner of the Gandini updated it to tge correct H&SE specifications?

Greenmech morphed from Turner
