:001_smile:

Im looking at getting a bigger saw as I've got some lumps of wood around that are a bit too large for my 346, I'd be looking at around a 36" bar, what would anyone recommend? Would be buying a used saw not a new one, trying to save a few pennies. Thanks

I run a Husqvarna 395 on a 36" . Copes well .

36" You'd be looking at MS660 plus

No sure on the husky side of things 395XP might get away with it but like i said Not sure with huskys if not 3120 is the next best thing that will whip a 36inch round nicely or an ms880

395XP copes well . 3120 would do it with ease but not so fast revs . My 3120 runs a 50" Canon . £95 36" .404 full chisel works good for me .

Was just reading an older thread about problems with the chain brake on the MS660, is that a problem that still happens??

If you're looking at secondhand, condition and use are more important than age. The 066, which is the same thing before it got renumbered, didn't have any chain brake problems that I'm aware of.
