worst cold/flu of my life

Real flue really fooks you up, had it three years ago - ran such a high temperature I could have taken my eyes out and put them in iced water.

 

Felt like death, the only time I was OK was in bed with the heated blanket on full tilt.

 

Worse part was the cough cocked my back up for three weeks and I still have a bit of a cough in the morning three years later.

 

Not good at all - get well soon:thumbup:

Yep got it to, weak as a kitten not been good for work and brain is fried.

 

monday night it took me an hour to get out of bed for apiss cos i felt so weak and shivery!cancelled a couple of days this week which i hate doin but would av ended up worse off in the long run

Sister down in Derbyshire, has had it real bad since end of last week. Had to have paramedics out for breathing difficulties one night earlier this week. Went to Doc's today, massive chest infection, rushed straight to hospital & straight onto intravenous anti-biotics to try and get it under control.

 

Her partners ill with it too, but he's not as bad.

 

Looks like something nasty doing the rounds at the moment.
