Hi all,

i'm getting very interested in milling timber ,and hope to have a setup bought and in use later this year.In fact I bought a stihl 070 with a new 36" bar and chain earlier today for a respectable £90 ,and I'm planning on milling with this

So really I'm just enquiring to wether anyone here does any chainsaw milling locally? And if you do ,would you mind me tagging along for a day to watch and take notes? I'm not looking for payment, just knowledge :001_smile:

Many thanks,steve

You might want to get in contact with agg221 (Alec) I might be wrong but might live close enough.

Hi, afraid I'm not that close, but if you're ever up my way (North Essex) you're most welcome to drop by and do some milling.

I like the 070, but have never been lucky enough to pick one up at anything approaching that price!
