Seeing as a few other peeps have a thread of there own, i thought i'd have meself one of them:thumbup:

It'll be pictures, video and ramblings of day to day life and a small window to my world:biggrin:

To start, I've just bought myself a Drift HD and this is the first video edit i've ever done. Tis only a reduction an a medium Lime tree but it was the only decent job we had that week that i could really video:lol:

Anyway, watch (and hopefully enjoy) in 1080p:001_smile:

Great first video Rob,and nice to see confident use of a Silky(my favoured cutting tool)...looked nice and sharp too! what climbing system were you on!,,,looked like a very smooth descent...and some daisy chaining going on...

Sorry Nick, thought i had made it possible on mobiles?

Yeh Paul, Silky was brand new that day:thumbup: Like a knife through butter it was, and especially on Lime. Rarely take a saw up with me on pruning jobs any more, it just gets in the way:biggrin:

I just use a Hitch climber with VT, think my rope is yale xtc fire and hitch cord is OP 8mm, got it tied just right albeit with a little bit of sit-back. Tried the spiderjack for a week when i borrowed one but must admit i prefer my hitches:thumbup: (each to their own an all that.

Really wanna try SRT next, only used it once and that was for access, and that was well over a year ago...

Be some tension on them thar roots.

Bet it would go bang (with some serious force) if you'd get to sever them :sneaky2::biggrin:
