Hi all, just a quick request and warning to others. My brothers Defender 110 hi cap was stolen lastnight from Boreham, Essex between 22:00hrs and 07:00hrs. Thankfully he keeps no tools in it overnight! Its blue with a white truckman top & fairey mechanical winch with the spare wheel on the bonnet if anyone spots it? Its not worth much but we're stuffed for work without it!!! Hope I get to catch up with the dirty thieving f@#kers!

Keep your eyes on your kit guys!

Well, much to my astonishment following a tip from a member of the public, lastnight my brother and I, with the aid of some friends, went and recovered his stolen Land Rover from a deep ditch in the corner of a field near South Woodham Ferrers. It was minus its truck cab & windscreen but still had pretty much all his personal stuff! Only other things gone were a rake, shovel and chip fork and his much loved box of Snap On tools! Rather unusually it had been dumped a few hundred meters from a group of "travellers", I'm surprised that they failed to notice that somebody had dumped it there!!!!!

Best Wishes

Mike
