Gortex lined Lowa + Kiwi + multiple pairs to alternate.

Hose them down, perhaps a brisk scrub.

Leave a while to surface dry naturally.

Apply polish while still damp.

It seems to do more good the longer the polish is left to soak in before wearing.

Mind the polishing while damp means that as the moisture evaporates it "sucks" the waxes in.

Or so I understand.
