how do you mount your camera on your helmet? i have just stuck it on with adhesive mounts that came with the camera. but ive got my doubts as to if it will stay on or not.

If you've used the supplied mounts then it won't come off.

Have you watched the guys in Flight Proximity Suits? 140+mph and the GoPro stays on the helmet.

The GoPro mount is mega strong. If you apply it as per the instructions it will not come off unless you have a major impact.

 

I am using the same mount that I applied 3 years ago on my helmet and its as strong as the day it went on. I don't climb trees but mine is on a skydive helmet, it's subjected to some pretty big forces and gets they occasional whack when I forget its there and I hit the door on the way out

 

If you are really worried then you can buy a low profile mount which is bolted to the Helmut and has no chance of break off.

if it can stand up to a sky dive then im sure it will take a few knocks a bit lower to the ground

I just got one. That tape is super strong.

 

Just clean your helmet very good, and put it on warm.

Ive got a stein helmet. Gopro do a vented helmet mount that fit if your unsure about the sticky pads.

Heres my first vid. the camera took abit of a battering but the mounting worked great

I've got a Stein Plasma lid too but find the sticky pad fits on it just fine with my Drift HD:biggrin:
