Weight of Lime Stumps ???

Got approx 130 lime stumps to dispose of; being dug up not ground. Disposal cost obviously based on weight...

 

Any ideas what the stump from regularly pollarded lime upto 30" dbh tree would weigh??? Worst case...

are you smashing em about to get rid of soil?what sort of soil they in?

3-500kg depending on amount of soil and stones attached. Do you not kow any friendly timber lorries who owe you a favour and happen to be in the area, that could pick a few up and weigh them.

i dug out a 30" ash stump recently that was ground as deep as the grinder would go and the stump was still too heavy for the 2.8 ton digger to lift.
