Hi

i am new to Arbtalk but have been into forestry for a number of years. Just like you to know that I live in the Tyne Valley (Northumberland Side) & last week the Trash relieved me of a Husky 346XP, Echo 131 Pole Saw & a Tanaka 4501. Police brought the husky back on Saturday , just a lump of molten Ali on the end of the bar. Have warned Police that they better get to them before I do.

If you are in the Tyne Valley watch your gear mine was not the only lot to go that night & they even nicked a Landrover in the village probably to cart the gear away.

Sorry to hear of your loss mate. Was the gear stowed away in a store/building or did you leave it in the vehicle ? had stuff nicked from the motors previously but have learned my lesson the hard way ?...Nick Pearson, Timberline-Roe Ltd.

A mate of mine subs to three different companies, and all three have been hit this week alone!!! This kind of targetting is getting all too rife, and there is no protection against it in law. In one case they had torched around the reinforced locks until the doors opened.

It's proper crap when it happens.

They seem to migrate the wrong way. When it was warm and sunny now they are moving north when its cold. Shows how stupid they really are.

Bet spud could fix that husky up in no time....
