Happy new year to all. i'm sure this question has been asked many times and for this i am sorry, How ever seems to end up a battle of brands, i have always run jonsered / husky saws and my local dealer is top i don't very often buy a new saw, mainly older broken ones and like fixing rebuilding as much as using them. But looking to buy a 390 or a 395xp mainly to run a 28" and 36" bar to ring up trunks. over long term use between the two what are the pros and cons? and usability?

Many Thanks Shep

I bought a 390 back in November and thinks its great, My dealer says it won't run a bar bigger than a 28" without changing the sprocket though and he feels above 28" would be a bit much!! It goes lovely with the 28 though I'm most happy! I bought it as the difference on paper between the 390 and 395 isn't that much but the price difference is!

395 on a 36" bar is more then capable in any hard woods I have put it in ... Don't know if I would want to take a 390 above a 32".

HI HODGE/MATT so why do my 880 use less fuel then my 660 so 880 is power all the way IT LIKE A R8 RACE TUNE I'm going to put the 660 on a 20 ins bar thanks all jon

Evening all, Hodge have you had any problems? thanks for the input, im sure the 880 is a great saw but the dealer around here is not, on paper there's little difference other than the weight, but i guess there's know replacement for displacement,

Don't fancy a 880 or a 3120 as I like husky mate ;) up a tree on spikes !! No fun, plus I'm not in to logging !!! Get it down and away with a hiab for some one else to deal with, if I gotta use a saw to dice it up its usually when I'm climbing then weight is every thing.. Or maybe I'm not man enough or ever have been for a 120cc saw dicing up on spikes!
