What be these two, the first growing out of the base of a spruce.
The second growing out of the tmroots of a beech. Very big and smells of rotten fish.
And finally a Panther cap

Am i right in thinking that the first one is Phaeolus schweinitzii

First one looks like Phaeolus schweinitzii to me. Second looks like a couple of intergrown Boletes. Are they really on the Beech or on top of it?

Third one could be Amanita rubescens, maybe too early to tell apart from A. Pantherina?

The big stinky 'boletes' was growing where the roots were. The roots are close to the surface and easy to follow, and the fungi were all growing on top of the root ridge.
