Cerioporus leptocephalus (suspected - see black stem and tiny pores and small size)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lactarius sp. (suspected L. fluens or L. blennius, as it was around beech and the characterists appear to align with descriptions somewhat).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Russula sp. (around Scots pine, though broadleaves also about further afield). Stem slightly pinkish. Potentially R. rosea? May be R. sanguinaria, due to conifers and slightly adnexed gills.

Ah, I thought it was further up by the looks of the first photo!

 

I can spot species of Amanita, Coprinus, false chanterelles (I think?), Polyporus (Cerioporus), Boletales (many diff' genera), Russula, and Lactarius, I do believe. And a Scleroderma.

..........and a partridge in a pear tree !

 

 

The mycorrhizas were a treat today, but the highlight was by far Suffolks biggest girthed oak, (curtesy of Reg Harris) and the fine troup of dryadeus on its trunk

That's indeed something! Are they P. dryadeus? Look different to how they usually look - notably the tapering-off on the underside, and the atop colour.
