Hey Folks

Some of you may have read an earlier thread regarding our visit to the Gambia, west Africa last February; others may be following the exploits of forum members who are currently in South Africa climbing.

For those who didn't already read or watch, here's a short utube clip of our trip.

Basically we are returning in May for part 2 of the adventure & there are a few places left for those interested in climbing large trees in west Africa. Please PM me with details & interest.

Regards

Nod @ Treeworker

Just to refresh this as we have 2 spaces to fill for the trip to make a group of 8. We will be able to visit and climb a range of trees in different environments from sub tropical gallery forests, savanna and within village communities. This is a non profit venture and the cost will include round trip flights from London to Banjul, accommodation, guides, all meals and local transport.

We are looking to fly out of London on the 30th April for a week. We have the kind offer of full board five star accommodation at Mandina lodges and had the kind offer of assistance from the airline. This means we hope to be able to take a group on an organised adventure and raise a worthy donation to the makasutu wildlife trust. Money raised from the trip will be used to support health and education projects in local communities who we will visit.

We also plan to work into this a way that participants have the opportunity to promote their own business as part of their involvement if they so wish.

We are working on a total cost of £1200. If your interested please contact nod or myself direct at either [email protected] or [email protected]
