Big Tree Measuring Expedition - Lincolnshire Saturday 12th Jan

Hi all,

 

Going on a bit of a trip measuring big trees, starting near Lincoln and heading down towards Spalding on Saturday. The results will be posted on Adam Bourne's UK Gems thread.

 

Meeting at 9am in the car park on the junction of the B1188 and B1131 at Canwick, just outside Lincoln

 

Starting with a monster beech, big syc, a chestnut which is claimed to be the largest spread in Europe and a Lime Adam has sorted. Maybe a few more down his way.

 

Would be good to know numbers for this one so can anyone interested let me know:thumbup1:

That's Cambridgeshire mate, bit further south than we'll be going. I know that tree though and it's a beast
