You will find thousands of pages of info about it online.

 

To be honest it depends on the chain. If they need a bench grinder or if they are just shot and need new chain.

 

If you can get someone to look at them and let you know if you can hand sharpen them do so.

Anyone know of anyone round the Biggleswade area that sharpens chains, got a couple that could do with the professional touch!
