For anyone who is still interested in the latest release date of the t540xp. I emailed husqvarna directly asking when it was going to be available and they replied this -

"We can confirm that production is due to start in March, with a targeted

release date around this time."

Looking forward to getting my hands on one!

Seems very vague.

"production is DUE to start in March, with a TARGETED release date AROUND this time"

arggghh! I need a new top handle asap but wanted to wait for the husky.

Rumour here in sweden is April, but a tree company who has been testing them for over 2 years, has said husky are changing or modifying the exhaust, so sounds like its still being developed!

My 339 died 2 months ago and I have been using ground saws and borrowing top handles to keep me going until the new t540 comes out. Don't think I can wait any longer...might have to get the 201, unless any one has a 339 with a dud engine ( I can use to rebuild and keep me going til they finally bring it out) for sale.

I think husky may have lost me as a loyal customer!
