So the new year is almost upon us and every year we make a big song and dance about what will be different this year but how many of us really go through with it. Well that's about to change people, here you can record what your resolution will be and your progress can also be recorded. We can also post questions for others to answer if needed.remember it doesn't have to be tree related, lets help each other.

Ill start,I'd like to think that I'm a good work climber(not a comp climber) I can get the job done and am always called upon to do the tricky jobs.i don't really come across hard jobs anymore but jobs that just take time to do it properly.well I want to build on my rigging skills and get more techniques down.im mainly talkin speed lining, done a few times but was a little slow.this year I'm going to practise when ever the job suits(even if it saves a drag) and turn it from awkward and slow to an art. Ill post my progress with you guys.

Not to put a dampener on you goal, but the word speedline does not necessarily mean its the quickest option but sometimes can be the easiest, it can be gear intensive or it can be as simple as you want, either way will show its benefits, I find speedlining great but there's a time and a place, with out the to 2 together it's not worth it, this is of cause my opinion, but best of luck to you with it, I'll be doing a piece on speed lines on the rigging thread in the new year mate...:thumbup1:

My new year resolution to quit smoking, get fit and loose a stone, :thumbup1:

Absolutely has its place but what I'm saying its not practised enough,so when my crew get round to it,the system is slow and everyone is new to it.a bit like when you first startclimbing.you only get better with practice.i know about gear intensifying but it can also be done simples.but that's my goal, explore all the options and run a tighter ship if you know what I mean.my rigging is pretty neat and tidy and speed lining I just have not done enough of.
