Happy Burns Night to all, especially those in the northern kingdom enjoying haggis tonight, wish I could have some down here...!:001_smile:

pm me your address and i will post one tomorrow. i am going to post office anyway to send away the spikes. my mate runs his own butchers on the same street. Havent a clue how i am going to post spikes so the haggis will be a laugh mate:001_smile:

remember SWB youll need to go up the hills and catch it first lol

i had the best haggis ive every had tonight

thats ok because i know how to catch them.

haggiss have 2 long legs and 2 short legs because they live on such steep ground, but if you surprise them and make them run the other way then they fall over and just roll all the way to the bottom. then before they get their bearings whack with a big stick.:001_tongue:

I was lied to! I was told as a lad that it had three legs, two longer and one shorter hence confront it on the contour of the hill, it turns round and hey presto falls over! My mum in law gets some lovely stuff from a butcher in Paisley; hey shrek - you gotta be kidding right?! Think my local Waitrose might have some at this time...

Got an invite to a Burns night last night, so duly obliged. Years since i had a Haggis! There was even vege haggis:scared1: for those that dont eat meat. Never heard of such athing!

menu was parsnip and butterbean soup, haggis (meaty one) neeps and tatties and a nice single malt. Happy days.
